DIMITRI HURT

Dimitri Hurt is a California attorney with more than a decade of experience representing individuals, businesses, and entertainment professionals across a broad range of legal matters. A Phoenix, Arizona native, Dimitri earned his B.S. in Justice Studies from Arizona State University before attending Thomas Jefferson School of Law on an academic scholarship.

 

During law school, he focused extensively on entertainment, music, copyright, trademark, sports, and transactional law and served as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Trina Thompson, now a U.S. District Judge for the Northern District of California.

After passing the California Bar, Dimitri began his legal career in Los Angeles, gaining experience in civil litigation and criminal defense while simultaneously building a successful talent management company. In 2015, he co-founded O’Connor and Hurt PC, where he has represented platinum recording artists, producers, executives, entrepreneurs, and members of the general public in a variety of legal matters.

 

Dimitri is also passionate about legal education and has served as a guest lecturer at Chapman University School of Law, Arizona State University, and Southern University Law Center. He remains committed to providing knowledgeable, practical, and effective representation to the clients and communities he serves.
